#30dayswild Day 14: Wild biscuits

Today, it was still raining and G's leg is still in plaster so we are STILL not able to go anywhere... so we made wild biscuits instead!

  • 350g plain flour
  • 100g self-raising flour
  • 125g granulated sugar
  • 125b butter
  • 125g golden syrup
  • 1 large egg

  1.  Put the flours and sugar into a bowl and mix.
  2. Rub in the butter until mixture looks like breadcrumbs.
  3. Make a well and add in the syrup and the beaten egg until a ball has formed.
  4. Leave to rest in the fridge for at least half an hour.
  5. Roll out and cut (we cut into butterflies and flowers). Place on a greased baking tray
  6. Cook in a pre-heated oven at 180oC for about 14 minutes.
  7. Leave to cool.
  8. Decorate!
