#30dayswild Day 3: Wicken Fen firelighting
Today we went for short slow walk/hop around Wicken Fen.
We found a puddle formed by the sunken board walk. It provided amusement as we watched the water rushing over the boards as we stepped on it!
Then we enjoyed 2 hours of firelighting. First we learnt how to stay safe and light a fire. Then we toasted marshmallows, cooked pancakes, had a hot drink and ate pop-corn. It was aimed at children aged 8 and over (but I snuck P in)
