COVID-19 Day 2

Sadly as more and more things close down it becomes harder to get outside in the sunshine. The husband and I walked the dog - she is still terrified of cars and so the quieter roads make it ideal for her to try and overcome her fear. We then stopped for quick run in the park - making sure we were well away from other users.

Spring is one its way. I love blossom - this tree is near our house and it makes me so happy every time I see it!
P and I had our riding lessons and then I took E to her vaulting session. Whilst she vaulted I went for a walk. I love walking there - I often see hares.

Tomorrow our first day of home school / work from home. I wonder how that will pan out!

COVID-19 Day 1

Today we took advantage both of the sun and still being allowed out of our house. We drove about an hour and went to Dunstable Down. It was super windy but beautifully sunny. Lots of people had clearly had the same idea of us and there were lots of people flying their kites - the husband disappointed he had forgotten his! Piper enjoyed her run!

We then had a quick look round Whipsnade Tree Cathedral which has trees, hedges and shrubs planted in the form of a medieval cathedral.

We then went riding before celebrating with a yummy Thai meal and some of P's homecooked chocolate biscuits.
