St George's Day 2018 @Wrest park
We went to the St George's festival at Wrest Park. We had to get back for our riding lesson so we had to plan carefully what to see. We managed to see English civil war re-enactment, Romans, falconry and Jousting as well as wondering round the camp, but missed the actual St George reenactment which happened at the end of the day.

Wicken Fen
Today we went for quick but muddy walk round Wicken Fen. Lots of the paths are closed at the moment due to rain and them trying to save the ground. Spring feels like it is on it's way! We saw a few birds and a rat!
Lake District 2018
We had a great time walking in the Lake District. We found newts and lots of frog spawn. We enjoyed caves and hills!

Parent & Child French baking @The cambridge cookery school
E, P and myself enjoyed a morning of baking at the Cambridge cookery school. There were about 10 groups of mixed ages. We made brioches, baguette viennoise and a plaited rye loaf. All were yummy! The course was really well run and we were taken through the stages step by step. We also enjoyed a nice drink and snack whilst our items were baking. The course was expensive but the girls are keen to go back and so something else next time! And the best bit - no washing or clearing up!
